Automated Collection Service

Truck picking up trash

The City of Boca Raton has distributed garbage containers to over 20,000 homes and will expand the automated collection program into the annexed areas of the City over the next year.

The City has provided each resident that receives curbside collection with a special garbage container. These containers have replaced all other curbside containers. Loose garbage bags or solid waste in non-City issued containers will NOT be collected.

These containers are the property of the City of Boca Raton. Each container is numbered and assigned to a specific address, as such they are required to remain at the same address they are assigned to. The container MUST stay at the current address if you move.

If you do not have one of the City's garbage containers, please contact the Sanitation Department to order one. If you wish to have an additional container, please note that there will be a service fee of $5.28 per month added to your water bill, along with the price of the container.

For service- inquiries, call the City's Sanitation Department Monday through Friday between- 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 416-3367. If possible, your questions / concerns will be investigated- and corrected that same day provided they are called in prior to 3:00 p.m.
