      Woman’s cellphone snatched from her hand

Updated with new video.  The three suspects were seen getting off the Tri-Rail train in Delray Beach.

Boca Raton, FL – On Tuesday, December 31, at about 7:10 p.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to a report of a strong arm robbery that occurred outside the McDonald’s, 710 West Yamato Road.

The victim told officers she entered the restaurant and sat at a table just inside the entrance, while talking on her iPhone. She added that two males entered the restaurant behind her. One suspect went to the counter and the other male stood near her table and looked at her. After about 25 minutes, the victim went to an outside table and continued talking on her phone. The male who had been looking at her inside the restaurant, followed her outside. The suspect approached her, grabbed her phone and after a brief struggle, pulled the phone away from her. The suspect then ran southeast through the parking lot. The victim was not injured.

Officers, including K9, responded to the scene and while checking for the suspect, saw him getting on the Tri-Rail train. Surveillance video shows the suspect with two other males.
