Boca Raton, FL On Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at 8:19 a.m., officers with the Boca Raton Police Services Department responded to a report of a robbery that occurred at 1001 SW 2nd Avenue.

The victim, Israel Machado-Castillo, an employee of H.T. Hackney, told officers he had just parked his work vehicle, a white box truck, in the alley behind Walgreens. Machado-Castillo said he was approached by a light skinned male about 6' tall, thin build, and wearing a grey, button-down shirt and dark slacks.

The victim was released from the truck after a Good Samaritan heard him pounding from inside the vehicle. Machado-Castillo was not injured. Approximately $100,000 in cigarettes, cigars, other tobacco products, and various items were stolen.
