Burglars busted for hot heaters
Boca Raton, FL – On Friday, March 26, at 10:00 p.m., officers from the Boca Raton Police Services Department responded to a report of a burglary that had just occurred at 4500 Oak Circle.
A witness called police when he saw two males back a white pick-up truck with a dark colored tailgate into the fenced area of Magulick's Pool. The suspects, later identified as Chris Hoang and Morris Mack, got out of the vehicle and loaded two pool heaters into the bed of the truck then drove away.
Officers in the area located the truck and stopped it. The witness identified the truck as the one seen in the fenced in area. A representative from Magulick's Pool identified the pool heaters found in the back of the pick-up as belonging to the business.
Detectives interviewed the two suspects, who confessed to committing the burglary as well as a previous one at the same business.
