Gunmen rob Harold's Jewelers

Boca Raton, FL On Saturday morning, August 7, at shortly after 7:30 a.m., officers from the Boca Raton Police Services Department responded to a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at Harold's Jewelers, 2200 West Glades Road.

When officers arrived they met with the victim, Harold Rosenberg. Mr. Rosenberg told officers he had been inside the store, preparing to open it for the day, when he heard a loud crashing from the rear of the store. When he turned towards the noise he saw a large, heavyset black male pointing a silver handgun at him and two slightly smaller black males standing behind the first suspect. All three suspects had their faces covered. The first suspect ordered Mr. Rosenberg to the ground and stayed with him while the other suspects took an undetermined amount of jewelry from the cases and safe. The suspects then fled back out the rear of the store without hurting Mr. Rosenberg. The suspects left in an unknown direction of travel.
