Thief targets women's purses in Mizner Park

Boca Raton, FL On Saturday, October 2, 2010 two different women had their purses stolen while they visited Mizner Park. The first victim was sitting with friends in the bar area of Racks Eatery, 402 Plaza Real at about 8:30 p.m. Her purse was on the bar next to her. A short time later she noticed her purse was gone.

The second victim was at Trulucks, 351 Plaza Real. This victim was also in the bar area and had her purse on the seat next to her. The victim told police she had been in the restaurant about an hour when she noticed her purse was missing.

In both these incidents, a Hispanic male was seen on video in the restaurants during the time the crimes occurred. Although neither crime was captured on video, the suspect is seen carrying one victim's purse as he exited the restaurant.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a bald head and wearing a white t-shirt, ripped jeans, and dark shoes. He also had sunglasses on his head and appeared to be wearing a necklace with dog tags.
