Necklace snatched from man’s neck
Boca Raton, FL – On Wednesday, December 19, at about 9:40 a.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to a robbery that occurred on the sidewalk near 450 SW 2nd Avenue. The victim told officers he and a friend were walking south on the sidewalk, when an unknown male approached them and snatched the necklace off his neck.
The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male about 20 years old, approximately 6’ tall, average build, and wearing a black “muscle” shirt and black shorts. After the suspect grabbed the victim’s necklace, the suspect ran to the northeast parking lot. He got into the passenger seat of a newer model, four-door car, possibly a Volkswagen Jetta, bearing a Florida tag with “BC” somewhere in it. The vehicle left north on SW 2nd Avenue.
