Security guard assaulted

Boca Raton, FL – On Wednesday, October 3, at about 7:25 a.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to a call of an injured man at 951 West Yamato Road.

Officers made contact with the injured man and several of his co-workers. The victim told officers he was working the overnight shift and at about 11:00 p.m., he was walking around outside the building in the rear parking lot. The victim said he saw a dark pickup truck coming at him at an excessive speed. The victim made a motion for the driver of the pickup to slow down. When the truck stopped, the victim asked the driver to slow down. At this point, the passenger got out of the vehicle and began to beat the victim with a stick. The driver also got out and began to beat the victim with his fists. The suspects got back into the truck and drove away.

Nothing was taken from the victim. The victim, who sustained contusions and abrasions, was taken to Boca Raton Regional Hospital for treatment.
