Officer flagged down, five suspects arrested for armed robbery
Boca Raton, FL Officers from the Boca Raton Police Services Department arrested five suspects in connection with the armed robbery of three juveniles around 2:00 am Saturday morning. The three victims were walking down NW 15th Avenue on the way home from the movies when a car with five males pulled up and asked them where they could find the nearest gas station. As one of the victims was giving directions, three of the suspects jumped out of the back of the car, one cupping his hands indicating a weapon, and told all three victims to turn over all their belongs.
The suspects then jumped back in their car, made a u-turn and threw some of the belongings back at the victims. The victims flagged down a Boca Raton Police Officer working a traffic accident on Glades and quickly pointed to the suspect's car stopped at a traffic light. The officer pulled over the car and the victims identified the suspects as the ones who robbed them.
Arrested were Mic Brandt, Andre Williams, Anthony Williams, John McKenzie and Larry Riley. All were charged with armed robbery. Anyone with any additional information is asked to call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-456-TIPS or Detective Jeff Clare at 561-338-1246.
