The GBRB&PD and the City of Boca Raton jointly operate and maintain this park, which consists of fifty-five (55) acres of passive and active recreation facilities. Park facilities include a Community Center, softball and baseball fields, soccer/football fields, fitness trail, a children's playground, basketball courts, and eight (8) picnic pavilions, which all have charcoal barbecue grills. Pavilions #1, #2, #3 have lights and are lighted upon request. The Patch Reef Park Tennis Center has sixteen (16) hard courts and one (1) pro court, a hitting wall, a pro shop, locker rooms and a concession area.
HOURS OF OPERATION: The park opens daily at 8:00 A.M. and closes at 11:00 P.M., except Sunday when the park opens at 8:00 A.M. and closes at 6:00 P.M. in the fall and 8:00 P.M. in the spring
Athletic Fields: all athletic fields are open for public use whenever games are not already scheduled. Arrangements for their use should be made with the Athletic Program Coordinator at (561) 393-7826. Click here for Fields Rental Fees.
CONCESSIONS: the concession area in the park is a private enterprise and not operated by City personnel. It is open after 5:00 pm and/or whenever there is sufficient activity in the park to warrant its being open.
PICNICKING: The picnic areas are equipped with grills, tables and restrooms. Facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
PAVILIONS may be reserved at the Community Center with reservations available only to residents of Palm Beach County for $16.00 and non-residents for $48.00 . For reservations call (561) 367-7035 .
TENT AND TRAILER CAMPING: No individual family tent or trailer camping will be allowed. Patch Reef Park is considered principally a day-use area.
FIRES: All fires must be in self-contained charcoal units. No open or wood fires will be permitted.
PETS: No pets will be allowed in the park.
NATURE: The walks and heavily foliaged areas are favored haunts for a wide variety of birds and small animals. Please do not feed the animals in the park.
Smoking and Alcoholic Beverages
are Prohibited in all parks.
